Professional Resource Manual
The NAGCAT Professional Resource Manual (PRM)
was published in June, 1999, as the professional companion to the NAGCAT parent guideline
posters.The PRM is intended for safety
professionals, extension educators, healthcare professionals and other
professionals engaged in agricultural injury prevention research, education,
health promotion and training to farm parents of children working in production
agriculture.
The PRM distinguishes the developmental
requirements necessary for a child to safely complete an agricultural job.The PRM also includes information on agricultural hazards, supervision,
and parental responsibilities to create safe working environments for working
children.
A job hazard analysis framework and child
development checklist is available for each of 61 agricultural jobs. The complete PRM is available online. See links below.

for Children's Agricultural Tasks" contains several errors and omissions
